Your tax-deductible membership fees support educational outreach programs, our guest speaker series, and our observatories. Our members donate their time and expertise to share the wonders of astronomy with the community.
Membership benefits include:
- Annual Membership in the Astronomical League, a national organization providing support to over 20,000 amateur astronomers, that includes a subscription to the Reflector Magazine, their quarterly astronomy publication
- Discounts on astronomy magazines and other astronomy-related publications
- Use of the club’s loaner telescopes
- Invitations to special club member-only astronomy events and star gazes
- Club voting privileges and eligibility to participate as a club officer and/or advisory board member
Membership Categories:
Student: $15
Individual: $25
Household: $30
Supporting: $100 – includes a club calendar
Hubble: $250 – includes a club calendar and a club mug
Sustaining: $500 (Lifetime) – includes a club calendar and club cap
Galileo: $1,000 (Lifetime) – includes a club calendar, club cap, and one private star gaze
Annual payments for new membership made after August 31st will also be applied to the following calendar year.
Student Rate
The club offers a reduced $15 annual membership dues rate for full-time students under age 25.
