The Astronomy Club of Asheville is recognized by the IRS as a “public charity” and as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit, educational organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
Our astronomy educational outreach efforts into the community are performed by volunteers. Our monthly club speakers program, the operation of our observatories, as well as all other club activities are advanced through membership dues and contributions.
