The Astronomy Club of Asheville is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, educational organization, with an average membership of about 250 people. We are an “all-volunteer” organization with neither employed nor contracted staff. All of us love the night sky, and we enjoy exploring, learning and sharing our knowledge of the universe that surrounds us.

We are dedicated to helping people of all ages understand and enjoy astronomy at all levels of interest. Although we encourage you to join our club, you don’t need to be a member or own equipment to participate.
