Image: The Club Google Group is widely used by the members to share their astro photos. This image of The Pleiades star cluster was submitted by club member Tommy Wilkinson.

The Pleiades (M45), or “Seven Sisters,” is a bright, young open star cluster in the constellation Taurus. This cluster of hot, blue stars contains thousands of stars but typically shows 6-7 clearly, glowing with a blue haze from surrounding reflection nebulae.
