We are fortunate in Western North Carolina to have relatively dark skies with less light pollution than much of the world. So when Earth’s orbit takes it between the sun and the moon, creating a total lunar eclipse, many of our club members take advantage of our clear skies, and you can see the results of our evenings under the red moon here. Some of these images were shot using telescopes, some with just cameras, but we think you’ll agree, all are beautiful.
